ESL Pro League Season 11 groups revealed

ESL have announced the four groups of six that will comprise the Pro League Season 11 group stage.
Four groups of six teams have been drawn for the ESL Pro League Season 11 group stage, which will kick off on March 16 in Malta, as HLTV.org has learned. Each group will feature best-of-three matches in a round-robin format, from which the winners will advance to a play-in for better playoff seeding while the second and third-place finishers will advance to a round of 12.

Group A will be headlined by Astralis, the favorites ahead of Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and ENCE, a pack of teams that are working on finding their identity in 2020, and underdogs GODSENT and Sharks. Meanwhile Group B will feature a strong duo at the top, IEM Katowice champions Natus Vincere and semi-finalists fnatic, who will be joined by FURIA, HEROIC, FORZE and Complexity.
MOUZ, Liquid and 100 Thieves all failed to make a semi-final appearance at IEM Katowice, but one of these three Group C teams will have a golden opportunity as the winner could end up in the top four by winning the following play-in match against the Group D champion. The other three teams in the pool, Virtus.pro , Renegades and BOOM, will have to pull off big upset performances to end at the top.
Last but not least is Group D, which will pit G2, Evil Geniuses and FaZe against each other, three teams that are all within four positions in the world ranking and that will have to deal with OG trying to break into the playoff spots. North and TYLOO round out the group with less upset potential, but could prove fatal if they manage to steal some series from the frontrunners.
