Fantasy games for IEM Dallas and CCT Online Finals open to play

No time to rest after the Major as two more Fantasy games from HLTV are online.

IEM Dallas is set to go live between May 29 - June 4 as the Texas event brings back tier one action only a week after the end of the Paris Major. The tournament will host 16 teams looking to claim the lion's share of $250,000 while users will be able to compete for skins and cash prizes in the HLTV x Roobet League.

Before the elite teams take the field in the Lone Star State, several notable squads such as Ninjas in Pyjamas, BIG, and Bad News Eagles will compete in CCT Online Finals 1. The online tournament will also be accompanied by an off-season HLTV Fantasy game, meaning it will contribute no points to the seasonal leaderboard.

HooXi is once again the most-picked player due to his value

The IEM Dallas and CCT Online Finals games will run through the group phase and the playoffs, meaning users will need to predict the outcome of the respective first stage in order to benefit from their picks long-term. Due to CCT's extensive double-elimination bracket, it is crucial for Fantasy teams to focus on their players to make a deep run.

Rasmus "⁠HooXi⁠" Nielsen ($169,000) leads the line in terms of pick rate for IEM Dallas as the Danish in-game leader's affordable price and the potential of G2 have made him a valuable asset in more than 40% of teams. Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage ($210,000) and Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov ($230,000) have also appeared as popular choices among users.

Timur "⁠buster⁠" Tulepov ($186,000) and Vladislav "⁠nafany⁠" Gorshkov ($180,000) have also been picked by a good portion of teams as the Cloud9 duo prepare to tackle their first LAN event since the IEM Rio in April.

Ninjas in Pyjamas players have appeared as the favorite choice for CCT as the European squad come into the online event as the highest-ranked side following a respectable run in the Paris Major. Aleksi "⁠Aleksib⁠" Virolainen, Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke, and Daniil "⁠headtr1ck⁠" Valitov all made it into the top eight of most picked players.

Cai "⁠CYPHER⁠" Watson, Sener "⁠SENER1⁠" Mahmuti, and Wiktor "⁠mynio⁠" Kruk have all been picked by at least 20% of users as their respective teams are expected to make deep runs in the bracket.
