Complexity beat Entropiq to win Spring Sweet Spring 3

Kristian "k0nfig" Wienecke put on a strong showing to spearhead his team to victory over the Russian squad.
Complexity have booked a spot at LAN Sweet LAN 2022 following a 2-0 victory (16-9 on Overpass, 16-12 on Mirage) over Entropiq in the Spring Sweet Spring 3 grand final. The No.14 and No.16 ranked teams received direct invites to the quarter-finals, with Benjamin "blameF" Bremer’s men taking down Fiend before struggling past 1WIN to make it to the title decider, while Aleksei "NickelBack" Trofimov and company defeated Copenhagen Flames and AGO in two-map affairs.
The tournament win comes as a much-needed boost for Complexity ahead of the IEM Cologne Play-in after a period of middling results. The international side will play their first match in the double-elimination bracket on Tuesday at 15:20 against ViCi.

Entropiq kicked off the series on their map pick of Overpass, swiftly rallying to a 5-1 start with sustained success on the B bombsite, but Complexity recomposed moving forward to prevent the half slipping away from them and overwhelmingly took control of proceedings. blameF & co. secured nine straight rounds in convincing fashion, conceding just 10 kills during their streak on the way to a 10-5 half. The international squad once again started slowly after the side switch but soon found their footing on the offence to close out the map, 16-9.
Next up was Mirage, where the events followed the same pattern as Overpass. Entropiq came out with a promising 3-0 advantage, but the majority of rounds went in favour of Complexity once they had guns in hand for a 9-6 lead on the T side. Justin "jks" Savage helped his team win their first pistol of the series before Entropiq began to string together successive rounds to narrow the score difference. However, a crucial eco round victory was enough to fend off the encroaching Russian squad as Complexity secured a 16-12 win.
