Four teams join European Champions Cup participants' list

Four additional teams have been invited to the European Champions Cup, the organisers have announced.
The invited quartet of AVANGAR, NoChance, BIG and Windigo bring the team count to nine for the online event, with seven more invites to be revealed in the coming days.
AVANGAR have attended numerous tournaments in the last two months, most notably the EMF CS:GO World Invitational, where they lost the best-of-five clash against FURIA, and the BLAST Pro Series Moscow CIS closed qualifier, securing one of the two spots in the Play-in stage.

Contrarily, NoChance have not made any appearances since their StarLadder Major qualifying run came to an end as they fell short in the Europe Minor despite some promising performances.
BIG will look to ascend back up the rankings in the European Champions Cup following the return of Owen "smooya" Butterfield and Johannes "nex" Maget to the lineup, while Windigo are likely to debut their new line-up, featuring Buğra "Calyx" Arkın and Ali "hAdji" Haïnouss, in the tournament as the duo are unable to compete in the upcoming ESL Pro League Relegation.
The European Champions Cup will feature a series of online stages between mid-September and November, with $60,000 and four spots at the LAN finals in Malta up for grabs.
The participants' list for the event currently looks as follows:
