FaZe edge out Liquid in OT

FaZe now hold a 2-1 record at the ELEAGUE after beating Team Liquid 22-18 on Nuke.

Liquid started the match with fire in their bellies, storming to a 7-0 lead as FaZe had no response to the North American's pace. However, much to everyone's surprise the half ended in a close 8-7 scoreline as the European side crawled their way back and bagged eight rounds without response.

FaZe held on to their lead and won the pistol round as Terrorist, but Liquid hit back right after and put together a run of rounds to retake the lead in the game. FaZe then won a few rounds of their own, with their streak coming to an end thanks to a quad kill from Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche.

That round win propelled Liquid to reach match point, but somehow FaZe found the strength to get back into the game as they won the final two rounds to force overtime.

The first overtime could not decide a winner as both teams took two rounds on the CT side. In the second overtime, FaZe won three rounds straight as CT before sealing the deal with a well executed ramp push.
