ESL Challenger February 2022 Fantasy game goes live

Test your knowledge of CS:GO by building your Fantasy team for the ESL Challenger game.

The new Fantasy game for ESL Challenger February 2022 is finally open to play! The event will see eight teams divided into two groups, with the top two from each advancing to a standard single-elimination playoffs bracket. Running between February 11-13, the tournament displays a $100,000 prize pool.

YEKINDAR will have his 2022 debut with Virtus.pro

The Fantasy game will cover the whole event, so it will be natural for the Fantasy contestants to steer towards players from strong favorites Virtus.pro, with Mareks "⁠YEKINDAR⁠" Gaļinskis and Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali, quickly jumping up the order in terms of pick rate. The pair appeared in our 20 player list of 2021 after a very strong year, but their respective value of $220,000 and $219,000 will surely deter some from picking both.

New-look FURIA and Complexity are looking to have their breakout event, and ESL Challenger poses as their best chance yet. Thus, it is no surprise to see players already jumping to pick Andrei "⁠arT⁠" Piovezan due to his effective value of $195,000, as well as Michael "⁠Grim⁠" Wince who displays a price tag of just $176,000. If the North American rifler manages to bring back the form shown in Triumph, it could turn out to be one of the best pick-ups in the whole Fantasy game.

Alexandre "⁠bodyy⁠" Pianaro seems to be turning into a popular pick for this edition of the Fantasy game, with the Frenchman displaying a 1.10 rating so far in 2022 and a value of $201,000. Not bad for the best performer of the second-highest ranked team at the event.

It is worth noting that until the tournament organizer announces the opening matchups for the event, Fantasy users will not be able to assign boosters to their players.
